Our backcountry adventure will begin near La Porte, CA at Little Grass Valley Reservoir in beautiful and historic Plumas County/Plumas National Forest.

Are you an SUV owner, anxious to take your vehicle off the pavement? The Sierra Treasure Hunters 4 wheel drive club is hosting their third annual SUV run, and you can take part! Experienced guides will take you on a backcountry journey that will get your feet wet, so to speak, to the world of off-road adventure. You will be exploring California’s historic and beautiful high country, experiencing just enough challenge to satisfy your curiosity about what your SUV or truck can do when you shift into four-wheel drive.

We will have several stops at historical points of interest and scenic overlooks and bring a CB or Family Service radio to hear narration along the way. Lunch, drinks and snacks will be provided, bring your folding chairs, suntan lotion and cameras, there will be plenty of photo opportunities on the trail!

The cost is $50 per adult, age 12 and under are free.
This will be a great time for all involved, and we hope to give you a better appreciation of the Sierra Nevada back-country and your 4wd vehicle.
