Here's a simple page detailing my 1982 Toyota 4x4 non-comp rock crawler named ROXALOT.

This data I supply is for informational purposes and not meant as a step by step "how to", your results may vary.
As with any true trail rig, Project ROXALOT will always be under the knife, grinder, welder, wrench, you get the idea.

ROXALOT's  SPECIFICATIONS

Suspension Front:
Trail-Gear 4" springs, u-bolt flip, Rancho 9012's, 2x4 under front x-member w/spring hangers under, 1.5" shackles, Ford towers.

Drive Train:
Stock engine, dual T-cases w/237 final crawl ratio, 18" splined Travel Master front DL, rear DL w/Spicer CV, 4x4Beast.com dual case cross member.
Suspension Rear: rear suspension gallery
Chevy half ton 63" springs,
Custom shackles 8.25" eye to eye,
Relocated spring hanger 11" forward,
U-bolt flip, Repositioned Rancho 9012 shocks.
   
Axle Front:
Dana 44, Alloy cro-mo inner axles, ARB air locker, 5:38 gears, braided brake hoses, extended diff breather, Extreme Gear Off Road high steer arms & rods, OTT pitman.
Axle Rear:
'87 Toyota axle, ARB air locker, 5:29 Superior gears, V6 carrier, shock mounts welded to front of tubes,
braided brake line, extended diff breather.
   
Protection:
Custom welded on rock sliders, Custom front bumper,
wrap around rear bumper / swing gate / air tank with tire & jerry can mounts, custom dual case cross member w/skid plate, exo skeleton.
Tires & Rims:
35x12.5x15 Kumho Venture MT's
mounted to 15x10" Rockrawlers w/2.5 offset.
   
Air Supply:
Viaair onboard air compressor, 7.5 gal air tank fed into rear bumper tank, air chuck behind front bumper & coming out of rear bumper, 20' of air hose.
Recovery Equipment:
3" strap, Hi-Lift jack, two 7/8" clevis',
custom receiver mounted 7/8 clevis,
full size spare tire, shovel, pick axe, fire extinguisher.
   
Communications/Navigation:
Tuned Cobra 29NW LTD Classic w/illuminated face,
Wilson 1000 ant. w/3'x2" preloaded whip, 2 FRS radios,
cell phone + external ant., loud mouth, Garmin Vista C GPS.
Entertainment:
Kenwood CD/tuner, two Boston 4" 3-ways,
two Boston 3" 2-ways, one 8" Bazooka bass tube,
150w power inverter, Mac G4 PowerBook, Digital camera.
   
Exterior:
Convertible hardtop, stock & half doors, 16" bobbed from the stock long bed, cut open front wheel wells, J**p back seat mounted in bed, custom mixed orange paint, modified Confer roof rack.
Interior:
Corbeau bucket seats, Crow 4pt harnesses, stock carpet,
AC & heat, custom shifter boots for all 3 sticks, trail dust.
   
Other Items:
Blingin' chrome mirrors, diamond plate license plate frames, rear Lic. plate located inside spare tire with LED light, cargo net, ratcheting straps, bungee cords, various rope, spare nuts & bolts, tarps.

 

FUTURE MODIFICATIONS :
WORKING ON: Winch, dual bead locks, 37-40" tires, Ready Welder, rock lights, larger capacity OBA, on board shower.
